We offer thorough preoperative testing to identify the best surgical treatment for each patient. Many of the surgical problems that we address have multiple possible solutions, but no one perfect answer. Our goal is to select the optimal treatment for your problem in order to achieve the best result given your clinical situation. Clinical surgery is our number one priority. We also participate in research to evaluate current or future therapies. In that line we measure surgical outcomes as objectively as possible. That may involve specific urologic testing or use of what are termed validated patient questionaires. Validated questionaires are sheets of paper with questions that have been designed for and statistically evaluated to accurately measure how our patients are doing. Use of validated questionaires also allows us to compare our outcomes data with that of other experts across the country.
